I'm not able to understand what this field 'o32_psize' means. The size of this dll on both the systems are same, but the viewbin -o option gave a difference of 4 bytes in 'o32_psize" field of this dlls on the two systems. Second difference of 4 bytes was due to notify.dll. This gave me a total difference of 4 bytes between the two systems.Ģ. Difference of first 4 bytes was because of 4 bytes difference in the compressed size of boot.hv files. There was a difference of 8 bytes between the two systems.ġ. How to get exactly the same s on both the systems? (ceconfig.h is exactly same on both the systems)įILES. Here are the output of viewbin on the two systems before boot.hv: The nlssrc.txt was present in OSDesigns\WorkSpaceName\Wince600\imx27ads_armv41\cesysgen\oak\files. The exact location of nlscfg.out we are not sure of, but we found it in RELEASEDIR. The files that are used for creation of s, namely nlssrc.txt and nlscfg.out are same on both the systems. Note: 8 bytes' contents are different and not that it exceeds nls as per the interpretation done above. We found that 8 bytes are different in s being generated in the two systems (between which nk.bin size differs by 8 bytes). Need to do some more work to figure out what file is it. That means the difference in not for this file, but it is for one of the files that is located before this file in the image. Refering to ROM 0x88F5A474 and ROM 0x88F5A470, the location for this file for each of the nk.bin differs by (0x88F5A474-0x88F5A470 = 4).
